Ejisu Entrepreneur supported with GHS 20,000 as part of “Ejisu Club 100 Project”
I spent my weekend touring and engaging with my constituents as we lay the foundation for various socio economic developments.
As part of my activities on Saturday, 13th February, 2021, I paid a visit to several existing businesses, in the Ejisu constituency as we shared ideas on how we can execute my vision “Ejisu Club 100” project which seeks to create 100 entrepreneurs in Ejisu in the next four years.
As part of this drive, I visited a young entrepreneur who is the CEO of Waktech Company Limited, Mr David Wakpal. Waktech company designs and builds hatcheries at Adadientem in the Ejisu constituency to support poultry farmers in Ghana.
His hatcheries are uniquely designed and have the capacity of producing 2,000 – 20,000 eggs capacity or even more depending on the specifications by the user. Mr. Wakpal despite his non engineering background taught himself and learnt how to build the hatcheries on his own.
I was impressed with his innovation and drive to grow his business to support farmers in the Poultry sector. I gave him a non-refundable donation of GH¢20,000.00 to support his working capital and to expand his business to create more jobs. He has officially been inducted in the Club 100 project and will benefit from other packages which includes, training, and access to new markets among several others.
Have a great week.
P.S: Details on how to contact him placed in the first comment.
