Former National Nasara Coordinator of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kamal-Deen Abdulai has lamented over the lack of unity among Dagombas in the party, which he believes is affecting the group’s progress therein.
It is not clear what warranted these comments from Alhaji Kamal-Deen, who previously failed in his bid to become national youth organizer of the party, when he contested against Lawyer Nana Baokye.
Taking to his Facebook page, he wrote, “Sadly, Dagombas in NPP are yet to Strongly Unite in support of one another for the common good of all. We are too individualistic. Hard truth!”
The former parliamentary candidate hopeful of the NPP for Nantong constituency last year got everyone agreeing with him in the comment box.
Whiles some believed Dagombas in the party can not make it without coming together, others were of the view that it is an entrenched attitude that can not be eschewed.
So far no Dagomba is occupying a higher position, in the Nana Addo led government as the president is almost done setting up his government in his second term.
