SALAGA NORTH NPP YOUTH WING STATEMENT OF CONCERN
Goodmorning members of the media, youth wing members present here, invited guests, ladies and gentlemen.
The executives of the youth wing on behalf of the youth wishes to express our heartfelt concerns to the entire members of our beloved party Npp following the pending appointment of the MMDCES.
The North East Gonja District is one of the youngest District created in the last two years by his Excellency the president of the Republic Nana Akuffo Addo and therefore needs committed, developmental oriented and a grassroot person to represent him in the District.
The Youth Wing want to call on all persons vying for the DCE position in the North East Gonja District to embrace peace and work together as brothers with a common goal and aspirations to strengthen the policies and programs of the government in the area if any of them is appointed by the appointing authority.
Although, some of us may express mixed feelings for the pending appointment of the DCE for the area. We urged those people who may feel aggrieved to follow due process based on our party Constitution in seeking redress, and to consider the peace we enjoy in the area and not to take the law into our own hands to cause mayhem.
As we have always affirmed, nobody’s ambition is worth the blood of any constituent.
The Wing is edging the Kpansheguwura, Jantongwura, Kakpandewura, and Kanyaŋasheiwura and all opinion leaders to always continue to admonish their people to embrace peace and tranquility in their various traditional areas.
The peace, unity, stability, progress and the development of the youth in our dear infant District is more important than anything else.
