Ghanaian Rev. Father involved in the kissing incident at St. Monica College of Education has been removed from his duties at the institution according to media reports.

His sacking followed a crucial meeting after the video went viral. This was confirmed to 3News by sources at the institution.

In a leaked video, the beleaguered Anglican priest is shown kissing students at a church service. Since then, the video has gone viral.

In the leaked video, he was observed inside the church removing his face mask and laying his mouth on each of the girls’ lips in a scorching kiss.

Other female students in the church shouted in glee and applauded him on as he kissed each of the students.

The third female, who was wearing a face mask, was hesitant to kiss the priest, but he commanded her to remove it, which she did out of fear.

On Tuesday, the Anglican Communion’s Internal Province of Ghana published a statement claiming it had been alerted about a circulating video of a priest kissing some female students at St. Monica’s College of Education in the Asante-Mampong Diocese.

The church was saddened by the news, according to a statement signed by Venerable Dr. George Dawson-Ahmoah, Executive Director to the Metropolitan Archbishop of Ghana, who stated that a thorough investigation had been launched into the matter and that the action of the said priest would be dealt with in accordance with the Anglican Communion’s norms and values, where morality is extremely important in the church.
