A group calling itself Dombo Foundation belonging to the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the northern region has sued the the party’s regional chairman, Mohammed Bantima Samba and two (2) other executives over the appointment of the later.
In a court writ sighted by ghdominancenews.com, the court says, “You are are hereby commanded that within eight (8) days after the service off this writ on you inclusive of the day of service you do cause an appearance to be entered for you ; 1.MOHAMMED A. BAANTIMA SAMBA 2.YUSIF TOYIB0 3.YUSSF DANJUMAH 4.NPP NORTHERN REGION.”
“And take notice in default of your so doing this, judgment may be given in without your absence further notice to you”, the writ added.
In a petition signed by the foundation’s executive director, Mr Abdulai Iddrisu Dipantiche, he cited Article nine (9) paragraphs 22 and 24, pages 35, 36 and 37 of the NPP’s constitution which he thinks the Chairman Samba has violeted.
The petitioner MR Abdulai Iddrisu Dipantiche, has indicated that the Regional chairman has not responded to his petition but he has since proceeded to court challenging the appointments of the said regional executives.
