NPP Regional Chairman hopeful, Alhaji Amadu Inusah Dagomba Boy has said that the change in the party’s leadership in the region is eminent, looking at the signs at the just ended Regional Delegates Conference in Yendi and Nyankpala yesterday, October 5.

Alhaji Dagomba Boy who was speaking exclusively to at the conference made the remarks about the NPP’s progress in the region, blaming it on the current executives.

According to him, the NPP has come to a point where the rank and file of the party in the region is left with no option than to change the leadership going into the next elections.

“If you look at the signs at the conference, the signs are clear for everyone to see. We need to make progress as a party in the region that will help us actualise the break the 8 agenda. And it must start from northern region”, he said.

Alhaji is constesting against the current regional chairman, Mohammed Bantima Samba for the second time after the last elections that saw the later emerged victorious.

Samba defeated then incumbent Chairman, Mr Daniel Bugri Naabu in the elections with a total of 312 votes against his predecessor who managed to poll 116 votes, while Alhaji Dagomba Boy had 99 votes of the 568 delegates from 29 constituencies out of the 31 took part in the elections.
