Information reaching ghdominancenews.com indicates that some supporters of the NPP in the Gushegu Municipality purported to be loyalists of the former MP, Dr. Ziblim Iddi have had their contracts under the School Feeding Program terminated.
This, according to some of the affected persons in the area is witch-hunting, accusing the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Mr Robert Yaja Dawuni of using his office to deny them their daily bread, simple because of their relationship with the former MP.
In a letter sighted by this portal, signed and copied to stakeholders of the programme, the MCE wrote, “We wish to express our appreciation for your contribution as a caterer towards the implementation of the Ghana School Feeding Programme in the Gushegu Municipality.”
“By a copy of this letter, your contract has been terminated effective Friday 8h October, 2021”, he added.
In another letter, Mr Robert Yaja Dawuni wrote to engage one Mohammed Abdulai, who is said to have contributed greatly towards the ousting of the former MP, as a caterer for the same school the MCE sacked Dr. Ziblim Iddi’s loyalist from.
