Savannah Regional Communications Director of the Mohammed Issah has been commended by the rank and file of the party in the region, with some describing the tour as “positive” and “impactful”.

The media tour which started on Friday, October 15 on Magyk FM in Salaga is expected to end today Sunday, October 17 in Daboya/Mamkarigu constituency.

“Mohammed Issah NPP⁩ has so far proven to be the best communication director in the entire country. He’s innovative, organized, and smart in scouting young talents. I’m glad you guys have been able to solve the impasse”, an NPP Tamale South Constituency organizer hopeful commented on the news item by Nkilgi FM with the caption – “Bole Nkilgi fm smokes Peace Pipe with Savannah NPP Communications Bureau”

“On the first day of my “Media tour” and accounting to the people, I was accompany with Madam Lawuratu Musah-saaka and the team interacted with Managers, producers and show hosts of Jakpa, Kanyiti and Magyk radio in Buipe and Salaga. We took the opportunity to fraternize with them and to take home some inherent challenges associated with their job as media practitioners. The RCD also donated some amounts of cash to the media houses to keep up their work. The listeners of these Fm stations were also not left of the tour as they were sensitized on the work of the Nana Addo-Bawumia government in the newly created Savannah Region”, NPP Communications Director wrote.

“The team also made contact with our various communication teams in the Yapei Kusowgu, Salaga North and South Constituencies whiles certificates of the previous workshop organized was presented to beneficiaries. Together we succeeded”, he added.

According to him, this also presented his team with a great opportunity to fraternize with the media and to strengthen the relationship that exists between them since the creation of the region.

“This encounter was meant to fraternize with the media and to consolidate the good relationship we have had. We need to partner for the development of the infant region whiles asking for the media to emphasize on positive stories. The government must be supported to get the needed development for the Region. We also need to take advantage of the government’s project (coordinated mechanism for the safety of journalists) even though the region looks safe for journalists”, Mr. Issah told
