US-based Ghanaian social media commentator and activist Twene Jonas has launched fresh attack on Ghana’s Finance Minister, Hon Ken Ofori-Atta following the latter’s comment that graduates should start their own businesses because the government payroll is full.

Taking to his Facebook page as usual, the angry Twene Jonas indicated that the Nana Addo led government is not creating opportunities for the job of the country to be engaged, but only making noise.

According to him, a leader should able to translate vision into reality, and any leader who can not do this is not responsible enough to work in the interest of the people.

“The first responsibility of a leader is to define reality. The last is to say thank you. In between, the leader is a servant. Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality. Which is why I’m gonna continue to press our aimless leaders!”, he wrote.

“Ken Ofori-Atta is making noise instead of creating more jobs for the youth!”, he added.

So far many Ghanaians have taken on the finance minister over his comment, stressing that he has not demonstrated enough leadership as expected of him.

One of the social media activists, Kwame Asare Obeng popularly known as A Plus said, “We called John Mahama incompetent because Government was not employing. Today we are being told that government payroll is full but nobody is incompetent. John Mahama deserves a national apology.”
