Member of Parliament MP for Yendi Constituency, Alhaji Farouk Aliu Mahama has successfully lobbied through the CEO of McDan Group of Companies, Dr. Chief Daniel Mckorley to construct classroom block for the people of Yendi.

The project is in fulfillment of the promise made to the people during the campaign for NPP’s constituency primaries in 2019.

Alhaji Farouk Aliu Mahama who is now the MP joined Dr. Chief Daniel Mckorley to cut the did during the Damba two (2) years ago.

The 1.2 million Ghana cedis school project is fully completed and ready for inauguration.”Chief McDAN and MP for Yendi, as part of the McFAM DAMBA Festival, will join the Ya-Naa on Saturday, 23rd October, 2021 to ceremoniously cut the ribbon to open the school for use”, FAM Communications team said.

“The 1.2 million Ghana cedis project is fully financed by the McDan Foundation. Alhaji Farouk Aliu Mahama maintains that education is key to the development of Dagbon and Yendi, for that matter he will sometimes rely on his network within his reach, like in this case, to wage a war against the challenges that confront the education of his area”, the team concluded.
