Workers of Tamale West Hospital, better known as orderlies have threatened to embark on a strike, if management of the facility does not intervene to address what they describe as poor condition of service.

This was disclosed when some of the angry workers spoke to ghdominancenews.com following the decision by the group over the weekend.

According to them, this was necessitated by the actions of the one waste management company, engaged by the hospital’s management to handle the orderlies who are casual workers of the facility.

Some of them said despite working over a decade without appointment, the hospital still deem it proper to hand them over to the waster management company which usually delays their monthly allowance.

Checks in the and around hospital actually indicated the workers are not working, as rubbish was all over the place.

Meanwhile, all attempts to get the management respond to the issue prove futile.
