Information reaching ghdominancenews.com indicates that Ishmael Yahuza, who was introduced to supporters of Alan Kojo Kyeremanteng in the northern region as Alan’s campaign coordinator has been sacked.
Source close to the team told this news portal that the decision to strip the embattled Ishmael Yahuza of his position was endorsed in Accra on Thursday, November 25.
According to the source, this was a decision taken by some powerful individuals of the team in the region, which Ishmael Yahuza firmly resisted.
This led to the meeting in Accra at a house in Airport Residential area.
The decisive meeting was attended by former Zongo Development Minister, Alhaji Boniface Abubakari Sadiq, some reps from the northern region of the campaign team such as, Dawuda Jentuma, manager of Business Resource Center in the Sagnarigu Municipal, Mr. Awulolo.
Others are the man in the eye of the storm, Ishmael Yahuza, former Karaga DCE under President Kufour, Baba Wahab.
It will be recalled that a story published by ghdominancenews.com on November 18, 2021said a pro Alan group released statement giving reasons why Mr. Ismael Yahuza should be relieved of his position as coordinator in the northern region.
“His credibility in Tamale and the Northern Region in general is damaged beyond repairs”, the group wrote.
“He took some monies from polling station officers in the Kuffour’s regime when he was an aid to the then MCE Hon. Mohammed Amin Anta so he can facilitate a MASLOC loan for them. These polling station offices after paying the monies, never got the MASLOC loans. They followed up and there was no response from Ishmael. It turns out to be false. When Hon. Mohammed Amin Anta went to the polling station officers to seek tor their mandate to contest for 2008 NPP parliamentary primaries he was confronted on the 15sue and he denied knowledge of it. He said categorically in all the Electoral Areas he visited, that he NEVER asked anybody to take any money as facilitation fees for MASLOC loans some of us were present in those meetings”, it added.
According to them, this act dented the reputation and credibility of Ishmael Yahuza in Tamale up till today.
They said he has indeed accepted this in a meeting held at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium and said admitted it affected his political aspiration in 2012 and 2016 in Tamale.
