A Deputy Northern Regional Communications Officer of the NDC has celebrated the success of his daughter who sat for this year’s WASSCE with the Tamale Islamic Senior High School and has excelled.

After WAEC announced the release of the results this morning, Iddrisu Hardi Pagazaa checked his daughter’s results over the Internet and realising how excellent it was could not contain his joy all to himself. So he took to Facebook to share and to allow other people to join in celebrating his daughter’s success. Hardi Iddrisu Tungteeya passed with flying colours, clocking five A1s, a B2 and two B3s.

A proud father however got people teary instead of elated as he posted Tungteeya’s marks alongside a very Sorrowful tribute to his late wife, Tungteeya’s mother, who died few years back.

“It is rather unfortunate that I celebrate this alone. How I wish your mother, Umul Haira was alive. Death, death, death, hmmmm,” the NDC Executive wrote.

The daughter we were blessed with in that evening of 31st October 2002 has made us proud. Though I cannot see you but I am certainly aware you are joyous as I am,” a proud Hardi Pagazaa continued.

In the tribute, he prayed for the soul of his late wife and mother of his exceptionally brilliant daughter to rest peacefully, promising her that someday they will meet again.
