In a statement copied to, signed by medical superintendent of the hospital, Dr. Mahamadu Mbniwaya, the Tamale Central Hospital described the memo as “orchestrated attempt” to cause disaffection for the management of the hospital.

According to the medical superintendent, the staff who issued the said memo has no locus whatsoever to do so, because he could not follow the due process to find the truth.

“Management wishes to inform the general public that this internal memo went into the public domain before management received a copy. A move which appears to have been a well orchestrated attempt to portray the hospital in the negative light and give it a bad publicity”, the release said.

“Contrary to the impression created by the of the publication of the memo, five major surgeries  were done even on the day of the publication and there has not been any interruption of the work in the theatre up till today, December 26, 2021” the medical sup added.
