Member of Parliament MP for Yendi Constituency, Alhaji Farouk Aliu Mahama has given strong indication that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Northern Regional Chairman, Mohammed Bantima Samba will win massively to retain his position, or he, the MP will resign as Yendi Constituency legislator.

This was revealed to ghdominancenews.com by sources close to the MP’s office, adding that Alhaji Farouk Aliu Mahama will convince his colleagues nine (9) NPP MPs in parliament to support the incumbent chairman too.

“I am going to make sure Chairman Samba breaks the record of retaining his position in the northern region. This has not never happened, but I will make sure it does”, the sources quotated the MP assaying.

“All my colleagues have assured me they will campaign for Chairman Samba to be maintained. Because we want to break the 8, and we must maintain the winning team”, the sources added.

Meanwhile, in an exclusive interview on Diamond this morning, Alhaji Farouk Aliu Mahama declared that all the 9 NPP MPs will support Chairman Samba to retain the chairmanship.

It will be recalled that the Yendi Constituency Executives through it’s Communication Directorate presented a citation to Alhaji Inusah Dagomba who is vying for the NPP regional chairmanship position.

This event brother Alhaji Farouk Aliu Mahama and Chairman Dagomba Boy on one stage who are both natives of Yendi.

A picture of the two (2) seen holding the citation for Dagomba Boy triggered a controversy, with many saying Alhaji Farouk Aliu Mahama was crossing carpet to his team, thereby betraying Chairman Samba.

    It’s because none of them knows how I square my daily meal
