Minority Leader in Ghana’s parliament, Haruna Iddrisu has said that he has been loyal to the 2020 flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and former president of the country, John Dramani Mahama.

He said this in an interview on XYZ TV this evening, January 26 with the host, Eric Ahianyo on the topic – Parliamentary Blues, Minority’s Resolve.

According to him, he has supported president Mahama since 2005 when he was nominated partner the late president E. A. Mills as running mate going into 2008 elections.

“I have been a principal architect of Mahama Presidency way back in 2005 and I remain religiously loyal to him”, Minority Leader revealed.

This was umpteenth time the Tamale South made it clear to supporters of the NDC and Ghanaians that he holds no grudges against the former president and will never throw spanner into his works going forward.

There have been rumours of seeming beef between the two (2) by what some political watchers describe as “saboteurs of NDC victory” and these comments by the leader will put everything to rest.
