Northern based rapper, Sherrif Abdul Majeed popularly known as Maccasio has is in hot waters for what is known in entertainment as “beat theft”, as it is reported that he has been ‘busted by a record producer, Tubhani Music for sampling his beat without permission’.
The renowned producer took to social media to slam the rapper for sampling a beat he produced without acknowledging him as the original producer, justicefmonline.com’s Prince Barak said.
“Oh Maccasio’s Tuma video is gone!! Ah but why didn’t him and his management inform me before using my beat”, he quoted Tubhani as saying.
Maccasio has since responded to the accusations, stating that Blue Beat, a Tamale based Sound Engineer who mixed the song should rather be blamed for the sampling and not him.

Kom is a song by the Tamale based rapper, Maccasio. The music video of the song has been taken off YouTube after the Kumasi based sound engineer, Tubhani music accused the musician of copyright breaches.
Maccasio has since asked fans to channel their blame to Blue Beat who produce the Tuma song. Suggesting that he has no hands on the alledged beat theft.
Maccasio and Blue Beat to be sued?
Maccasio and the Tamale based sound engineer, Blue Beat are likely to be sue, according to the Kumasi based sound engineer.
The two are likely to be prosecuted for unauthorized reproduction of his copyrighted works, according to the record producer.
