The Northern Regional Minister, Alhaji Saani Alhassan has said that he is not ready to talk certain issues bordering the region and Tamale to be precise.

He said this in an exclusive interview on Tamale based Justice FM’s section of the station’s morning show dubbed – Community Watchdog on Friday, March 11.

“We will soon come out. Walahi! I am informing everybody that we will come out. And when we do, we want you to use your radio station to support us (in achieving our mission). We are pleading with you. Because we have talked too much on end (with no good results). I am not ready to talk again. I am not ready to do those talking again”, the tired regional minister told the host, Mutaru.

According to him, his office recently held a meeting with some stakeholders on these issues, after which another meeting was held between REGSEC and the Yaa-Naa’s palace where some selected chiefs in Dagbon were present. 

He also used the opportunity to condemn the attacks on VRA/NEDCO staff by some recalcitrant residents of some communities in and around.

The discussion was about total disregard for road discipline within the Tamale metropolis which leading to accidents and lost of lives in some cases.
