The Deputy Managing Director of Agric Development Bank, Alhaji Alhassan Tali who is popularly known as NAWA Naa has supported the people of Tali, a suburb of Tolon constituency with an amount of 10, 000 GHC to dredge their dam.

According to his special aide, Yakubu Abdulai who presented the money on behalf of the deputy MD to the chief of the area, the intervention is “rescue mission”, adding that the people were in dire need of help save them from water related problems in the community.

He said the dam is the major source of water for the people of Tali, and it was necessary someone who could help be contacted to do so, which Nawa-Naa has done.

“I can confirm to you that the deputy MD of ADB, Mr. Nawa-Naa has given the people of Tali a sum of 10,000 Ghana cedis to dredge their dam. The money has been presented to the chief at his palace for the work to be done”, the aide tole ghdominancenews.com Fuseini Safianu.

“The MD is a native of Tali. He has been supporting his people in Tolon constituency and will continue to do more. This is not the first and will not be the last time he will extend his support to the people”, he added.

It will be recalled that in on January 16 this year, the management of the newly opened Tolon District Hospital also took a receipt
of a GH¢50,000.00 donation from ADB to support it in the effective running of the facility.

NAWA Naa who made the presentation on behalf of the Bank, said corporate social responsibility activities is a critical component of the Bank’s strategy of giving back to society, hence the support.

“We are here today to make a cash donation of Gh¢50,000 as further contribution to support the smooth operations of the hospital and helping to provide medical care to communities that visit the facility”, he said.

On their part, the people of Tali thanked the MD for his continuous support to the Tolon constituents, saying that they were “much appreciative of the help so far”.
