Senior Member of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), lawyer Grabby Otchere Darko has wished one of the National Youth Organizer hopefuls of the party, Mr. Salam Mustapha victory in the upcoming elections, saying that SM, as he is affectionately called “has served the party faithfully”.
Lawyer Gabby who wields much influence in the NPP and government made this remark when he shared a Facebook post by SM that was an official declaration of his intentions to lead the party youth wing.
“You have served your party faithfully over the years. I wish you well”, Lawyer Gabby wrote.
Though it is not clear whom among the candidates expressing interest is the choice by the presidency, but some said this post is an indication that Salam Mustapha is the choice of the highest office of the land.
Below is what Salam Mustapha wrote:
I have come to seek your support….

New International Version

Qu’ran chapter 8:10
And in no way has Allah made this except as good tidings and that your hearts thereby might be composed. And in no way is victory from (any- where) except from the Providence of Allah; surely Allah is Ever-Mighty, Ever-Wise
My belief in God remains absolute and my victory will come from Him. By His grace, once more let me reiterate that, I shall pick nominations form for the position of National Youth Organiser of our great party. I do so with sincere conviction to lead the youth of our party.
I come on board with unparalleled experience in managing the national youth wing. I’m a former deputy national youth organiser of the very youth wing which took the party from opposition to government [2014-2018]. I’m the only aspirant running for NYO who has hands on deck knowledge of the workings of the Steering Committee, National Executive Committee [NEC] and National Council of the party. I know how to stir this boat. It’s not a ‘matra ma kwe’ affair. There’s a job to be done and not a position to be filled.
I will build a bold, strong, fearless and formidable youth wing to maintain power for the NPP and also open up opportunities for the youth of the party. I believe that the NPP is the party of hope for the Ghanaian Youth with our record hence the need for the youth wing to become the cornerstone of the party.
Join me and the SM team and let’s make this a possibility.
