Ghanaian Hip-Life artiste, Ahmed Mujahid Bello known by his stage name as Fancy Gadam has revealed that the song titled Bontahali was not a colabo between him and his colleague, Wiz Child.
According to him, the song is for him which he singlehandedly wrote, adding that Wiz Child only featured in it and did not contribute much to its production.
Fancy who was speaking for the first time on the controversy surrounding the song on NTV’s Dinchena Show on June 25 said he only decided to give it to Wiz Child when he realised his colleague wanted to ride on the song to rise.
“Bontahali was not a collaboration song between myself and Wiz Child. To be sincere with you, itt was written by me. The song is mine”, he told the host G-Face.
“I wanted him to feature me in the song. I had many songs at the time, and was not ready to release it. But Wiz Child was telling people that the song was excellent enough to push him to the top. So I decided to let him own it”, Fancy Gadam added.
This brought to an end the rumours that the singer was only trying to claim the song, whereas others said he rather featured in it.
