The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Tamale North constituency, Alhaji Alhassa Suhuyini has made a donation of over fifty (50) PVC pipes to the people of Larini, a suburb of Choggu electoral area in the Tamale North Constituency.
Alhaji Suhuyini made the donation yesterday, August 11, which was a response following an appeal by the people of the community somewhere last month when the he embarked on his “Thank You Tour” in the constituency, his communications directorate wrote.
He also handed over a hundred and fifty (150) pieces of streetlight bulbs to the presiding member for the Sagnarigu Municipal Assembly, Salim Abukari for onward distribution to the Assembly Members for the various electoral areas within the constituency.
This is to augment the previous gestures by the MP towards lighting and checking criminal activities in the constituency at night.
He appealed to the assembly members to fix the bulbs at places in their areas that need to be bright at the night to help reduce the incidence of crime.
The residents on their part showed appreciation to the MP for always acting swiftly to their appeals whenever they call on him.
They however called on other MPs to emulate the leadership style of the Alhassan Subuyini in other to help minimise the level of developmental challenges that their constituents are engulfed with.
